DIY Skate Crawl

This is work I did for a local skate club that planned a crawl spanning multiple parks. The best work came from a DIY skate park. My goal here was to capture not only the action moments, but to keep the environment and the general vibe of the day in the background and in focus. These photos give a clear feeling of what it was like to be there, not only on that day, but in that scene. This is as much cultural photography as it is action photography. When I review these photos it reminds me of what I love about Baltimore.
